NightTimeSpeedScale=10.000000
DayTimeSpeedScale=0.100000

that will make twenty-four hour period ten times longer and nighttime 1/10th the time

non sure if you tin can completely turn it off, I havent tried that.

Singleplayer has sliders yous can set to make everything to your liking. Even i for solar day/nighttime length.

normal day/nighttime cycle is 2 hours, so this would give you lot i hour 48 min daytime and 12 min nighttime afaik. ;)

You should try the Center Map and then you'll want to have 24/vii night fourth dimension. That map has an astonishing nighttime sky with loads of minor glow worms flight around at nighttime

well.... if u tin can't hold a torch while swinging your axe, throw the torch on the ground maybe? ;) or suffer a few seconds of darkness lol.... I like the darkness in the game, unless I demand to hunt lol

You lot could change your gamma setting by way of the control console.

there is a former program called GammaSutra which makes life easy for dark monitors and for nights in game practice a search should find it .

Just slide your day time speed to 0.0
I play with permenant daytime as well. And merely employ the command "settimeofday 12:00" without quotations if it's night time so you can only rush to day time.
